Taylor Morgan is a seasoned political and public relations professional with more than a decade of experience in some of Utah’s most important political campaigns and policy initiatives. He has advised numerous municipal, legislative, and federal candidates and campaigns affiliated with both major political parties. Taylor has also been instrumental in launching and helping lead innovative and successful non-profit organizations in Utah.

Since 2013, Taylor has worked as the Executive Director of the Count My Vote citizens' initiative campaign and chief consultant for its related political and policy activities to modernize elections and increase voter participation in Utah. Before Count My Vote, Taylor served as an appointee in the office of Utah Lieutenant Governor Greg Bell, where he specialized in elections administration, legislative affairs, and communications. He currently serves as a political commentator for KSL NewsRadio and co-host of KSL at Night.

Prior to his appointment with the Utah Lt. Governor’s office, Taylor worked to promote voter participation as Senior Staff for the Governor’s Commission on Strengthening Utah’s Democracy, managed the Hinckley Institute of Politics' political and national programs, and served as a professional staff member with the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Foreign Affairs in Washington, DC.

Taylor graduated from the University of Utah with bachelors degrees in Political Science and International Studies. While a student at the University of Utah, Taylor completed internships with Congress and the Utah State Legislature. He also served as Director of Government Relations for the Associated Students of the University of Utah and Director of Student Advocacy for the Utah Student Association.


David May - Partner

David May has been privileged to work on some of the largest and most transformative campaigns, reform efforts, and community outreach programs in Utah. David has worked for both Republicans and Democrats, at nonprofits and on campaigns, as a communications manager and as a strategic planner.

David has experience working in both the private and nonprofit sectors. During his time at United Way of Salt Lake he worked as a development director where he raised millions of dollars for the organization. Working in the private sector he managed projects for multiple Fortune 500 companies. 

David previously served as a political appointee in the Herbert-Cox administration under then-Utah Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox. Prior to that he worked as State Director for the 2014 Count My Vote ballot initiative that ushered in SB54–one of the most consequential pieces of election reform legislation ever passed in Utah. He has also worked as a senior staffer for one of the most tightly contested congressional races in Utah history. The race was rated a top race by major publications such as Politico, the Cook Political Report, and many others.

David holds a Master of Business Administration from Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah and bachelors degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Utah.
